Save the Date and Don’t Be Late – 10/29/22

On Saturday, October 29th from 7-9 p.m. in our Dining Hall, Women’s Fellowship is sponsoring a fundraiser featuring “Memory Lane” Seniors Entertaining Seniors. Memory Lane is a musical duo of Mike Tourville and Danny Roy. Both of these talented musicians have been in the musical entertainment business since 1973. They are former members of the Polka Dots and The Happening. The Happening performed in over 300 local weddings, 3 Caribbean cruises with Carnival Cruse lines and 400 other private and public performances. They also performed at the Palmer Historical Cultural Center with the band “A Taste of Honey”, a tribute band to the Tijuana Brass.

Mike and Danny will be performing tunes from the 60’s such as “All of Me” by Frank Sinatra, “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison, “Don’t let the Sun Catch You Cryin’” by Gerry and the Pacemakers and “King of the Road” by Roger Miller. Their sing list consists of over 80 hits from various artists and music genre. Memory Lane is a fitting opening act to celebrate our 175th Anniversary. Tickets are available, $10 each, through Beth Zelazo (bethzelazo@gmail.com) or the church office. Refreshments will be available for purchase. So, brush off those dancing shoes and save the date on your calendar for “This Magic Moment” (Jay Black and the Americans)!
