Thanks to our generous loose offering donations and matching Mission Funds, we were able to send $500 to Malawi for relief from the devastation of Cyclone Freddy. Pastor Bruce’s sister, Terri, who lives and works there, writes “the sun has shone a bit over us the past few weeks, and individuals and agencies are taking stock of what needs to be repaired, restored or disposed. Estimates are that 2.2 million Malawians have been affected, one way or another. The official mortality count is 676 and another 538 are missing. So, thanks to everyone who responded to my appeal three weeks ago.”
