It’s great news that Pack 164’s American flag has been found! The base and flagpole could easily be replaced but not the flag. It is not an ordinary flag that can be replaced. The story of the flag starts back when Mike and Donna Callahan were leaders in the pack. A friends’ wife was stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan. While there, her unit adopted a local orphanage and the pack would send packages of clothing and toys as well as other needed items for the orphans. The flag was sent to the pack from her unit after it was flown over Kabul.
