Items Needed:
- Sauce pan
- Blender or food processor
- Chocolate pie crust
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- five (5) egg yolks
- 12 oz. heavy cream
- 3 Tbs. chocolate liqueur (or coffee liqueur or coffee or espresso)
Instructions:
Heat heavy cream in saucepan up to boiling. While it’s heating, put egg yolks, liqueur, and chocolate chips in blender. When cream just begins to boil, remove from heat and pour slowly into blender with blender running at low speed. When all the cream is in and the mixture liquefied, run the blender on high for 1 minute. When finished, pour into pie crust and refrigerate uncovered until cool. Cover and keep refrigerated until consumed.
