St. Paul’s Seder Supper – 4/1/23

The Rev. Steven Sousa of St. Paul’s Universalist has graciously invited our congregation to attend their annual Seder Supper on Saturday, April 1st, at 5:00 p.m. The Seder is the Jewish Passover festival meal associated with Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt, and is also the setting of the Last Supper of Jesus. The Seder includes song, Hebrew prayers, going through the Haggadah, and of course a pot luck meal. The Seder Supper will offer a taste of Jewish tradition, as well as important context to the Lord’s Supper. It is a very moving and enjoyable event! The following is a good site for information about the Seder celebration: www.faithward.org/what-a-seder-supper-can-teach-us-about-the-lords-supper St. Pauls would like a number of those wishing to attend, either sign up on the sheet in our Norman Room. or contact their church office at 283-8185. If you are able, please bring a dish to share.
