Undies

The Missions Committee will be having their annual sock, undie, and T-shirt drive for the Springfield Rescue Mission throughout the month of January. All sizes are needed for men, women, and children. These items will be distributed to the homeless and those who seek shelter at the Rescue Mission. You may drop off your donation

Cub Scout News – December, 2020

On Saturday, November 7th, Cub Scout Pack 164 hosted their annual Scouting for Food drive in our parking lot. Community service is a key component in Cub Scouting where the Cub Scouts learn of the importance of helping others and the community around them. The Pack received many donations from the residents of our community.

Missions Offering

The red envelope designated for Missions can be placed in the offering plate in the sanctuary entrance or mailed to the church. This offering will be used to buy gift cards for students at Palmer High School to help make some Christmases just a little merrier.

Gift Bequeathed to Church

Second Church is the recipient of a monetary gift bequeathed to us in the will of a former member. A check for $75,000 was received. It is yet to be determined, by the Financial Affairs Committee, just where these funds will be invested/allocated.
